UK SLASHBACK Cover
And here is the UK cover to Slashback (which hopefully means to all UK fans that Slashback–Cal 8 will be on your shelves at the same time it comes out here in the US. Finally, no wait for you!) It’s a very nice cover. Yes, it’s not Chris McGrath, but there can be only one true Art God in a generation. And I do like that ‘urban-distressed’ look on the title font. Very cool.

Very nice, but I’m glad we’re getting the US cover. As far as Cal being “pretty,” his egg diner did tell him he was a beautiful monster.
This is good for other countries but I like the US Slashback better, Bring it on Cal I’m ready for you , ready to nail that book. I hope there is a lot of spice in this one like Doubletake.
Pretty good, but I do love the US version.

Oh my god Cal has gone all pretty boy!!! Can anyone really imagine this boy being half Auphe??? Not in a month of Sundays.
Wierdly I’m getting less of a “Cal Leandros” vibe from this and more of a “Dean Winchester” vibe. Or maybe I’ve been watching too much Supernatural while waiting for the new novel to come out!
By the way, the Leandros series is definitely better than Supernatural.
They’re getting there! Still a little emo, Cal is much more “oh, yeah, in your face” IMHO, but definitely getting there.
And I also like the font…. with the background especially, oh, yeah, they’re getting the “feel” of the world… I gotta ask, tho – do they know something we don’t, like Cal chops his hair off again? Seriously, folks, I’m very glad that the UK folks are getting their Cal/Niko/Robin/Ishiah fix in a timely fashion. I would go totally bat-boogers if I had to wait as long as they have….

I always like seeing the interpretations of the covers for other countries. Plus, it’s neat to see how other people “see” the characters.
(“Moonshine” is still my favourite UK cover tho)
