I am so sorry and saddend that this happened you. Im praying for you and sending you as much healing energy as I can muster. You defiantely have a spot in my heart because, when I was teenager I hated reading but then a friend lent me “Nightlife” and after that I’ve loved books and reading since, which I certainly owe to you. So keep fighting the good fight as hard you can, because the world and the world of books would be a dull gray place without you.

to rob’s mother & other loved ones – you are not alone, and i wish the same love and peace to surround you as well…there are no words beyond these: you are not alone..those who know you – those who don’t know you – are carrying you and rob in their hearts and thoughts..waiting at the bedside when something unexpected like this happens tears the heart – i know from when my own husband was hospitalized with a brain tumor that almost took his life in his early twenties…the not knowing and the needing for all to be okay is overwhelming..so i will give you the comfort, again, that saw me through that time: you are not alone…and neither is rob…
i have yet to introduce my sister to rob’s books and now is a good time to do so…rob, i write this because i know you will read this…my sister will be blown away by the fantastic worlds you’ve created…we are both picky when it comes to what we love and you, rob, are something extraordinary.

Author Rob Thurman was in a car accident last week, and is now hospitalized in critical condition, with her injuries complicated by double pneumonia. For more information, see her blog.
